[Regression] Star Wars Racer no longer boots because of the r108 revision

Upon trying to reach the title screen on SW Racer now, the app hangs on a black 
screen with the following debug:

"8 bit vram writes are not possible"

After a period of time you then receive this:

"not implemented opcode: 1 : unknow opcode @ 8COF62F0"

Game has no issues in r107 but locks up here in r108-current release. This was 
reproed using a fresh install in both cases. 

Looking at that revision, it's not surprising that another thing was broke. 
Hopefully, that can be corrected!

nullDC r139 still has the same problem. Black screen after the FMV sequence.
This bug gonna be fixed in the next revisions?

I plan to fix this (along with other similar issues) sometime in the future. 
Hopefully within the first quarter of 2012.

Until then, you'll have to compile the revisions that work best for you.

Hmm. Sure do wish I could play this game. Great work on the emulator though, 
Star Wars Racer is the only one I can't play, so far.

Has there been any unannounced progress with this issue?  Star Wars Racer was 
one of my favs on N64, but I've always been a big Dreamcast fan, and recently 
found this gem of a game at a yard sale.  Sadly, I have no DC to run it on and 
I heard your emu was the best.  Thanks in advance.

You can use this version of the exe & all the previous games that did not work 
(dave mirra, sw racer) now work, just use this exe instead of the old one.
