Sword of the Berserk graphic problems #420

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?

1: Launch Sword of the Berserk and start game

2: In all "movies" you'll see some graphical problem,

3: *Edit - Delete - Add lines as needed*

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would see the same output of the real Dreamcast ;)

The expected output is: the movies as I remember it on the Dreamcast

But instead I see: an horse not diving in the earth, monsters don't dance,
Caska don't lose hairs and so on (watch the first movie of the game for an
example)

What version of the product are you using? What build? What plugins?

I use version: 104r136

I use a NoTrace build (the lastest downloadable here obviously the Dreamcast
one, not the Naomi one)

I use the following plugins:

PowerVR Plugin: nullDC Power VR [Aug 21 2011]
GDRom Plugin: Image Reader plugin by drk||Raziel & GiGaHerz [Aug 21 2011]
AICA Plugin: nullDC AICA [Aug 21 2011]
ARM7 Plugin: VBA ARM Sound Cpu Core [Aug 21 2011]
Maple Plugin(s): nullDC Controller [WinHook] (Aug 21 2011), nullDC VMU Logitech
friendly version (Aug 21 2011)
Ext.Device Plugin: nullExtDev (Aug 21 2011)

On what kind of system?

My system specifications are as follows:

Operating System: Windows XP Pro SP3
CPU: Intel Pentium E5700 Dual Core @ 3 GHz
Video Card: NVidia GeForce 210 by Asus
Sound Card: NVidia High Definition Audio (integrated on motherboard)
Additional related hardware and/or software: Nothing (I think)

Please provide any additional information below:

I've tried with all settings of paletted settings, resolution, aspect ratio,
dynarec, modifier volumes, z buffer mode, etc
See the image attached. I can do other screenshots but I hope you can
understand what I mean and test it by yourself to see the issue.
I hope would be possible to fix. NullDC are great and other games like Crazy
Taxi works 100% also better than real DC :D
