Castlevania SOTN wont start? #151

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.load bin or cue file for sotn
2.game start screen appears
3.No controller will work tryed classic pro,wii+nunchuk,adn gamecube

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
nothing wont start game

What version of CubeSX or WiiSX are you using? On what console?
wiisx 2.1 Hombrew on wii

Are you using HLE BIOS or a real BIOS (SCPH1001, etc)?
HLE BIOS

Which core type is being used, Dynamic Recompiler or Interpreter?
idk

Please provide any additional information below.

the only copy of SOTN i could find and none of the controllers i try will work 
maybe someone has a good copy of game or advice on controllers?

I had the same issue as you. Try switching the bios to SD, and make sure the 
bios is on your SD card under wiisx/bios. That's what worked for me.
