Select Button Defect #33

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Pressing the d-pad + Z as suggested  

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I'm expecting for select to be pressed, nothing happens though.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.
While playing breath of fire 4, trying to switch team members by pressing
select nothing happens.

Select is "Start + Z".

Thank you I did'nt know that,now I can play with gamecube controller instead of 
switching when I need to press select.
