BIOS File #34

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Include Bios with download package

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Instead of just being able to download the emulator from the wiki and go, 
we have to find the SCPH1001.bin file on our own, which is a hastle.
I am a n00b at this stuff, so I almost gave up when my roms wouldn't load. 
In the next release, would it be possible to include the bios file, or is 
there some kind of copyright infringement?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

The BIOS file can not be added to the package as it is copyrighted by SONY 
Corp. and
therefore would make the package illegal to download over the internet. It is
expected (though often not done) that anyone using any form of PlayStation 
emulation
dump the BIOS files directly from the PSX/PS1 that they personally own as this 
is the
only Legal method of using this file and at that is still a grey area in most
countries law.

Either dump the BIOS from your PS1 or use the HLE bios included in the emulator.
