unplug any usb/sd device and try again. a syscheck log would also be great.
and if you can, enable the show debug info and see what the last line is it
shows (to bad you can't update to the beta, it dumps it instead :( )

unpluging any usb/sd device isn't doing anything .
Syscheck log says everything ok , 36 has all 3 holes ( trucha , ... ) and 80 is
hermes ( dunno ... but priiloader uses it ) . Maybye I have to install 80 back
on 80 . Maybye . Because somehow I am not able to read dvds with the cd channel
but can mount them and launch them with USB Loader GX ... Syscheck says fully
that I am not able to run dvds . The green V is shown on the last syscheck
screen .
Gecko output does nothing . Never ...
I noticed stopping dvd load on boot makes priiloader unuseable ... it has to be
reinstalled then or the settings have to be changed .
I am sending the IOS syscheck log and the csv .
If I am missing something tell me .
And I noticed : The updater hangs at " Loading 0.8 beta 2 ... " . Maybye it has
something to do with IOS 80 .

reinstall IOS 80 to be sure.
if that doesn't work ill upload the beta to some place for download.
the dol loading could be because of some bug i fixed in 0.8, but the channel
loading concerns me

Reinstalling IOS 80 will just be too dangerous :/
It's the system menu IOS . Nice ! And I can't find any method to do so . :/
Maybye my brother and sister have to use the channel method . And hey - I found
an setting where you can make USB Loader GX started games not return to menu
but to USB Loader GX .
Maybye I will still reinstall IOS 80 ... Hopefully everything works 100 % .

i suggest you use dop-mii (but NOT use ahbprot with dopmii) or use nusd to
download IOS80 and install it using a wad manager.
either way, im not sure its the ios but who knows.

Just got up . Gonna try it asap . I really think it is it because - as said - I
accidentally installed an cios over an normal ios . And I can no more insert
disks in launch . And 4.3E's IOS is 80 . So , gonna try out now .
If it bricks , ... well , it bricks . 1 year is 1 year enough ;)

dont forget to take a nand dump so that if it bricks you can at least get it
fixed by deadlyfoez or bad_ad (or myself, but im not very experienced at it)

It can't install ...
BUT ...
Priiloader shows now in some cases output ! :D
It says when loading the installed file : Entrypoint : 80004000
And then it just tempbricks ( I name it the state when it freezes the Wii and
you can do almost nothing ... ) .

wad manager gives me -1035 . Should use an trucha bug IOS not the default 249 ?
Original comment by nuda1...@gmail.com
on 21 Oct 2011 at 9:05
Yep , our guess was right . The IOS functions were replaced with the ones from
HERMES , so leading to missfunctionloading .
Everything works now . Even the disk channel . :D Thanks .
So summary what I have done :
- I downloaded an IOS 80 with NintendoUpdateServer Downloader ( NUSD ) .
- I installed it with Wad Manager by Waninkos on an FULLY vulnerable IOS ( my
me 36 ) .
- I updated Priiloader ( not needed , tough ) .

first, a nand backup is fine even from bootmii ios. its the restoring from IOS
thats less safe... but if you do full brick the nand backup can be used by
others to write the backup back to the nand chip
second
-1035 ? Title with a higher version is already installed
eug, i forgot about that cios rev fail.
i suggest you download the attached dopmii build and let it use IOS249(not
AHBPROT) and use it to install IOS80

No , the problem was it had to be an vulnerable / exploitable ( trucha bug ,
... ) IOS , in my case 36 not , like WAD Manager suggested , IOS 249 . But
still thanks .

im pretty sure the error was correct cause the installed IOS80 is infact on max
rev(0xFFFF aka 65535) like any cios. see your syscheck :)
but if it installed a clean IOS80 thats fine too (check again using syscheck)

Okay , something I noticed :
- Sometimes Priiloader menu crashes with an black screen , white text ( should
get pics soon ) ...
- Some channels / homebrew apps crash with another , but almost same screen (
should get pics , too ... ) ...
And it all happened since the IOS 80 reinstall ...
But it isn't topic releated ...

right, so im better off uploading 0.8 BETA 2 for you so you can dump gecko
output to SD/USB which is easier to share with me (im guessing you had a DSI
dump)

Yeah , right ...
I already got it . But still thanks . Gonna update the instaler with it later
on as backup .
BTW I just got electrofied / zipped by trying to eject my MicroSDtoSD Adapter
from my Wii ... ouch :/ Now I can at least start Priiloader when pressing down
repeadetly while launching it with the power-on>hold-reset - trick . But dumps
and images will get up in a while if I get lucky !

Umm ... yeah , got the gecko output ...
Finally ...
The last 3 things I did :
- Searching for updates - nothing found .
- Launching into USB Loader GX .
- Launching into Priiloader menu with Crash ( last thing done ) .
There is not much info . Pics get up sometime later because my mom now watches
TV ...

In some games when pressing an button repeadetly it just freezes / crashes ,
maybye because of orcarina , but ...
But why 0 ? Even when blinking / on / only one light it is 0 ...
Nevermind , gonna get pics today in the evening or so .

oh , now I see that's normal , ...
But why is it crashing after it ? Can't gecko output be more precise ?
Original comment by nuda1...@gmail.com
on 24 Oct 2011 at 3:27
no, but what i can tell from that line is that it crashes somewhere between
init of the wiimotes entering the main loop.
thats some code and alot could cause it but at least i have some guidelines now
:P
Original comment by dac...@gmail.com
on 25 Oct 2011 at 4:54
also, if you say you have problems with the wiimote in loaders, have you tried
other wiimotes? is this a 3th party wiimote or something?
Original comment by dac...@gmail.com

It's an original bundle retail black wiimote with built-in wii motion-plus ...
I heard from a friend some games won't recognize the wiimote . Maybye it's it .
And I was sooo lucky in a while ... Nobody was at the TV . I could finally make
Images / Pics of our Wii , the screen and the wiimote ( Wii Motion Plus ) .
We have an black ( new ) wii , thus the protected drive chip . Oh - and it's no
Chintendo Vii ;) Pics get up in a while ( hopefully ) .

Bad luck ... Can't find it on the microsd card ...
I can tell you thru what I installed priiloader : The 7.0 installer per
homebrew channel .
Then I just updated thru Priiloader after the IOS 80 reinstall .
The configs ( I got them out of ma head ;] ) :
Normal excepting booting to installed file ( dol below ) , white skin , check
for beta updates and gecko output . I just can't find the configuration file
and the dol of priiloader . Is it " burned " / installed into the boot loader /
main memory of the Wii ?
Original comment by nuda1...@gmail.com

Modded installer : I just replaced the .dol file of the installer homebrew in
the apps folder with that one you gave me . It started . But I wanted to do the
full reinstalling sometime later on .

a k , so you are just using the official 0.8 BETA 2 installer. also, you didn't
upload the dol :P and yes, the priiloader dol & configuration are on the
internal memory of the wii(nand)
