Testing v0.8(beta v2) - Problem

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.install a .dol for autoboot (wiiflow)
2.press POWERON wii
3.press RESET

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
boot to priiloader - codedump 

i have to boot from a shortcut in hbc to launch priiloader - but there is no 
problem booting priiloader..
after i reinstalled priiloader booting from RESET works fine
but when i made a .dol autoboot again i can´t acces priiloader anymore 
output code (booting sm etc.) doesn´t work, too in this beta...
going back to v0.7 - everything works like ever:(

What version of priiloader are you using? On what ios/system menu?

mind sharing the dol you are installing?
i can't reproduce it.

also, it is possible priiloader is booting SM cause of wiiflow forcing it to do 
that; you should enable the dump gecko output function and see what is 
happening in prii.log on SD(and if there is no SD, USB)

autoboot to a installed .dol works now much better for me in v0.8;) 
in priiloader v0.7 i was NOT able to autoboot to wiiflow rev417 (blackscreen 
wii hangs). in priiloader v0.8 autoboot to wiiflow rev417 works fine. 
normaly i am using wiiflow rev304-cios222(38) for ntfs-support (works fine with 
both priiloader versions) but wiiflow rev417 seems to be a little to buggy at 
the moment... 
i could share both .dols but there should not be any problem with them, because 
both work fine for me from a forwarder or hbc or priiloader v0.8 or any 
hblauncher
autoboot the sm in priiloader v0.8 works also fine for me.

the only two problems i have in priiloader v0.8 are to get to priiloader-menu 
while pressing resetbutton after poweron. everytime i press reset and wait 
until priiloader opens normally i can see the menu for a second then i get this 
codedump. reload does NOT work after codedump, too (pressing resetbutton again).
a shortcut in hbc and a channelforwarder to priiloader i installed for testing 
are working fine to load both versions of priiloader (v0.7 AND v0.8) and i get 
no codedumps.
the other problem is the option of printing infos to the screen (dump gecko 
output) like "autoboot sm" or "installed file" or "found magicword" etc. is set 
on but does not work for me in priiloader v0.8, too... 

first i updated from v0.7 to v0.8 from the update-option (show betas-on) in 
priiloader, but when i got the codedump the first time i downloaded the 
installer here and reinstalled v0.8b over hbc. after install resetbutton after 
poweron works fine but when i install a .dol as autoboot resetbutton does not 
work anymore. going back to v0.7 solves both problems:(

update
with no sdcard in wiisdslot priiloader v0.8 stops codedump while pressing 
resetbutton after poweron and boots priiloadermenu.. 
with sdcard inserted codedump and prii in root of sdcard says:

SD: Mounted

Reset Button is held down
FAT_Init():1
PAD_Init():1
WPAD_Init():0

on screen i get no gecko output..
any ideas for fixing those problems?

Maybye it's an SD card reading bug of priiloader made accidentaly with 8.0 beta 
1 or so . 

Nevermind , I got the same DSI Dump problem on my thread . But not only that - 
I can't launch some homebrew sometimes , too :/

ill focus on the code dump when entering menu first.i still need the dol you 
are using hamma;cause i was not able to reproduce the problem with the dol 
nuda1 installed.
also, ofc gecko output isn't shown anymore. i changed it to dump to SD/USB 
instead cause thats better :) (but you figured that out already since you 
posted a log)

nuda1 can you confirm that without SD it doesn't dump?

Umm ... mine is an microSD ( any ) to SD ( any ) adapter and my microSD card is 
an 4gb ( 3.7 gb ) . 

Preloader wasn't SDHC compatible . And on many pages it says Priiloader IS SDHC 
compatible ... maybye not fully . 

But : It has something to do with SD ( maybye SDHC ) cards . So

I have a 4gb sdcard and priiloader v0.7 Works fine with it. I can share my .dol 
for fixing. Is it Possible to Use icq Skype or teamspeak? In 3 hours i will be

no, the SDHC code didn't change. my mounting code did change. im going to 
update libogc, recomile and do some mounting changes. because you say you see 
the menuf or a while and then the DSI im guessing the PollDevices is killing 
it. 
just hold one while i have dinner and recompile :)

SDHC's crashing fault is currently 100 % . 

I tried following combinations and the results :

Ok , just found out somehting more :

So , while in menu and connecting the SDHC while in the Priiloader menu it 
won't crash what's still wondering me because I am allowed to load files from 
the install menu without problems . Gonna try some more times again ...

just tried the dol from nuda installed(and autoboot to that dol) + the SDHC 
from my photocamera and no luck. i really dont understand whats going on. 
please try the attached dol(install it and try again). in this i changed some 
things in the mounting and updated my libogc (you never know it was a libogc 
issue). 

i'd love to get the stack information of this dol if it DSI crashes. thanks

PS : get a nand dump before installing this. its for your own good incase 
anything goes horribly wrong

i just dont understand how it only does that with a certain case.

it's still enabled and working by me ... I just did an reinstall ( booted to 
priimenu and got to hbc ) and set up settings , then restarting with dsi

this has anything related to gecko disabled (i have a suspicion its causing 
some weird libfat corruption. can't hurt to try now can it? :P )

can some1 try something?
reinstall priiloader, set settings to autoboot(but dont install a dol) and then 
turn off and back on (and try to enter the menu with reset). does it crash then 
? (when the SD is inserted ofc)
