6.60 OFW to CFW blackscreen after opening ProUdater then shuts off #597

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. put in all necessary files in memory stick
2. launch pro updater
3. black screen then shuts off after 10-20 secs

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I should've been able to see a menu on the pro updater

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I've tried different 6.60 CFWs on a PSP 1001 all same results

Please provide any additional information below.

What firmware do you currently have on your PSP?
Do you have a PSP 1001 or a PSP E-1001?
Did you format your memory stick before copying the CFW installation files ?
If you used a CFW before - did you properly uninstall and remove it before 
trying to install a different CFW?
