Some sites have lots of other files in the layouts not in the layout in the
wiki can you have a section about these files other people say are needed in
the sneek folder on usb and or sd or it will not work or rebuild nand

region.bin
key.bin

people say these files go in the sneek folder on usb and or sd in the main
title or it will not work or rebuild nand

iplsave.bin

people say these files must be present in the virgin nand in sys or it will not
work or rebuild nand

space.sys

Well, never heard of these files.
If one of these is already present in the real NAND, I suppose it's also needed
in the emulated NAND.

But, as far as I know, the only files you need are:

on SD card:
- bootmii/armboot.bin
- sneek/kernel.bin

on USB drive:
- sneek/kernel.bin
- sneek/di.bin
- sneek/font.bin
and (of course) some games in the /games/ folder
(the diconfig.bin and channelcache.bin files are created when S/UNEEK boots the
first time)

"space.sys" seems to belong in the NAND dump (at least in my 4.3E dump) - but I
don't know if it matters if the file is not there...

lima you are right

space.sys doesnt matter in emu nand

as for region.bin and the other they are from before diconfig.bin

it used to be you had everything in the root like:
sd/kernel.bin(used to be boot2.bin)
sd/armboot.bin
sd/di.bin
sd/region.bin
sd/slot.bin
etc...

diconfig.bin took the place of the region.bin and other files a long time ago

ahh that makes sense so basically there should be a section in the FAQ about
files that are no longer used so people dont bother with them when they find
some old guide to follow
