Saves don't actually Save. #476

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Booting from the SD Media Launcher in Slot B on GameCube
Load Device: Auto Detect
Save Device: Auto Detect
Load Folder: snes9xgx/roms
Save Folder: snes9xgx/saves
Cheats Folder: snes9xgx/cheats
Auto Load: SRAM
Auto Save: SRAM
The built-in game saves created by accessing the main menu and hitting
"save" and selecting a location do not work on any rom.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I see the "Save Successful" screen after hitting save, but upon hitting
snes9xgx's Load, I am brought back to the start of the game. I navigate to
any save state select dialog or otherwise begin only to find my save game
is gone. Switching Load Device and Save Device to SD only disables the Save
and Load buttons; trying to select them only moves the cursor up to the
"close" button. In a test of roughly 100 of my 600 roms, all selected from
different publishers and either european or us regions, all 100 roms had
this same problem.

Are you using the official build (from the downloads page or auto-update)?
Yes.

What version are you using (4.1.7? 4.1.8?) I can save on my SD card just fine.
Don't
use auto-detect for any of those settings (I sure don't), as it creates
problems.

I´m having the same problem. When I load a game, it brings me back to the
start of
the game (with the logos).

I´m using 4.1.8

I´m loading the games from a USB device (WD my passport external hard drive -
working
fine for other wii stuff). I tryied to save in SD card and USB device, on
different
folder names (apps/snes9xgx/saves; snes9xgx/saves; snes 9x/saves.....)
The settings on the loading are: USB.

For every game save (auto or not)a Sdram is actually created, in general, with
2KB.

I´ll try older versions later. I was using 4.1.5 and having the same problem.
