GameCube version: .frz file not recognized? #494

It's just easier if I report in this format:
Problem: A saved snapshot for Chrono Trigger, Chrono Trigger2.frz, is
failing to load, displaying the message “Not in valid SNES9X Format!” The
save was made about sixty seconds prior to trying to load it. This was on
version 4.1.8. I then went to report the issue and found that 4.1.9 had
been released, so I updated. The problem remained. I then went through and
deleted all the useless .srm files that can't be loaded thinking it was a
space problem. No change. The following is a brief series of diagnostics:

1.Loading Game: All games load perfectly. Chrono Trigger as well.
2.Loading a previously Saved snapshot (all snapshots were originally saved
on 4.1.8 and are being loaded on 4.1.9): Bust-A-Move. Megaman VII, and an
older Chrono Trigger snapshot (Chrono Trigger1.frz) load without incident.
3.The following messages appear when the specific save files from the
“saves” folder are selected as if I were attempting to load them as games:
Bust-A-Move: “Invalid file size!” MegamanVII: “Unknown file type!”
Chrono
Trigger1: “Unknown file type!” Chrono Trigger2: “Unknown file type!”
4.Save file sizes (as read off of Windows 7): Bust-A-Move: 91.8kb Chrono
Trigger1: 121kb Chrono Trigger2: 120kb Mega Man VII: 107kb
Again, Chrono Trigger2 is the save that is not loading, while the other
three load to their respective games without incident.
