Crash when you return to menu

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load any rom
2. Return to main menu and change video mode to original
3. Back to the game
4. Return to menu again
5. CRASH!!

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
See the main menu without problem, but instead a crash error appears

Does this issue occur on SNES9x for Windows 1.52? If so, please report the
issue on the Snes9x forum.

What version are you using? On GameCube or Wii?

Are you using the official build (from the downloads page or auto-update)?
r585 compiled

Using NTSC Gamecube with SD Gecko

No, i have tried rev 587 and the problem is still present
