16:9 correction not working in 4.2.0 #527

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Rendering: Original
2. Scaling: 16:9 Correction
3. ???
4. Not profit!

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I have 4.2.0. I enabled Original rendering and 16:9 correction. Said correction
has no effect, the picture gets stretched out during gameplay - BUT it works
when I press the home button, but when I go back to the game, it's streched out
again. If I enable filtered rendering - the correction works. I get black
borders on the sides during gameplay.

I have not tested it yet but it might apply to FCE ultra as well.

Does this issue occur on SNES9x for Windows 1.52? If so, please report the
issue on the Snes9x forum.

No, this is for Wii.

What version are you using? On GameCube or Wii?

Wii.

Are you using the official build (from the downloads page or auto-update)?

Auto-updated 4.2.0.

Please provide any additional information below.

This (and the others) is a great emulator! Thank you for your hard work, you're
single handedly making Wii the best video game system in the world.

Okay, yes, FCE Ultra GX (3.1.8, latest) has the exact same problem. Works in
filtered/unfiltered, but not original rendering, same as this.

:-)

I have never seen a 16:9 screen which supports original mode :O

Wasn't original mode only available for CRT displays? That is why maybe nobody
had noticed this before.

I have original mode disabled if you have a component cord (all 16:9 tv users
really should!) since the component cord fixes the same issue original mode was
intended to fix.
