Cheas file no found! #532

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Load Snes9xGX 4.2.0
2.Load ROM (Secret of Mana in this case)
3.Setting menu, cheats

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should load .cht file, instead gets message Cheats file not found!.  

Does this issue occur on SNES9x for Windows 1.52? If so, please report the
issue on the Snes9x forum.  No

What version are you using? On GameCube or Wii? Wii

Are you using the official build (from the downloads page or auto-update)?

Please provide any additional information below.
Made sure that the ROM name and the .cht file are named the exact same.  .cht 
file is in cheats folder.

This error happened to me as well, updating to 4.2.8 with the auto updater. It 
appears that the auto update feature may be breaking how it sees cheat files. 
In my case, the file names were exact and correct - redownloading 4.2.8 from 
the project site (versus the built-in auto updater) resolved the issue.
