PSP locks up when returning to XMB (by pressing Home/ PS button) when leaving HBL #310

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Pressing home/ PS button when leaving a game from HBL
2. It says please wait like leaving a game
3. It locks up but not freezes (still am able to control brightness and volume)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Which HBL revision are you using? On what PSP model & firmware version?
HBL R97
both PSP 1001 and 3001
OFW 6.20

Please provide any additional information below.

It locks up at the please wait but it's not frozen
