Open file dialog causes crash #209

Describe the bug Version 1.10.2

I’ve been having an issue lately and it lines up with the last release. Basically when opening any file dialog within an application run via protontricks, the application will crash. The issue wasn’t present before the last release. At first I thought it was an issue with MO2, but then had the same issue occur while running Bethini.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open executable via protontricks that has a file dialog (e.g. MO2, “add archive” button)
  2. If the crash doesn’t happen right away, try navigating to another folder in the dialog

Expected behavior Should be able to use the program’s file dialog functionality. Before when I was working out the permissions it would just not show files in directories it couldn’t access, but now it crashes.

Whoops, not an issue with protontricks. The sad part is that I don’t know what exactly the issue was or what I did to fix it, but I did after some tinkering 😓however definitely related to the software I was using and not protontricks.
