https://github.com/MatsuriDayo/nekoray/issues/352 this is an exact duplicate because the issue was closed and the link in there is deleted.

Necessity of recommendations

utls is essential to not reveal configurations to the censor. In fact, I would consider it a massive footgun today, that I can create configs with fingerprints in nekoray but the contained sharelinks do not contain fp.

I just realized, fingerprint settings work perfectly fine in vless links, but they are missing in vmess links. I will update the title to reflect this.
