XBox 360 Gamepad RT and LT (Z axis) #3

Hello there,

I dont know if this is an issue but the gamepad Right and Left Triger are combined in the Z axis wich makes em pretty much useless... If you use both like one for throttle and the other for brake, you will get problems to find out what exactly is happening. If its possible it would be nice to have them on seperated axis. If there is an easyer way to get the current state of both Triggers i would go for that but i was not able to think of any yet.

Best regards, Evil 128

This would be an issue with the drivers connecting the gamepad to the computer, it should be the same if you went to the game controller config in windows.

Well I just now installed a custom driver: http://vba-m.com/forum/Thread-xbcd-0-2-7-release-info-updates-will-be-posted-here and installed it. It works fine and shows the RT and LT in 2 seperated axis. But i can not select wich driver to use in gmod or settings for the Joystick module. I might try to remove the windows original Driver but im affraid that it might cause other games to fail detecting the gamepad propperly. Sadly i have very few experianced with drivers so i cant realy tell what is possible and what is not for you.

Thanks for the quick respond btw ^^

It's not an issue with the addon so I'm closing this. Good luck however.

well, if it would be possible to add a fuction to decide what driver to select it would help alot i think.
