A new advanced mode based on controls #937

I've been planning for a long time to make a better advanced flight system

The original advanced flight was always popular in all legacies and is still remembered Control sequences have failed because:

If the sequences were based on controls (that would be in most TARDISes), you wouldn't need to learn how to fly each one separately

Proposal:

add 3 difficulties (related to #372)

  1. easy / sandbox / "pudding brain" mode: everything works like it does now, a TARDIS is a fancy instant teleport device
  2. normal / "companion" mode: more controls required for normal flight, vortex flight is required for longer distances, time in the vortex depends on the distance and which controls were used
  3. hard / adventure / "time lord" mode: adds flight problems like shieldless TARDISes colliding in the time vortex or TARDIS drifting away without handbrake

Control ideas:

(these are WIP and not confirmed, but the names and some function descriptions were taken from the show)

Shields (#371)

Mat/demat fabrication (from the "TARDIS handbook") on for demat, off for mat

Demat circuit Needs to be triggered not earlier than X seconds before demat

Synchronic Feedback Unit Multi-loop stabilizer essential for smooth remat, orientates the TARDIS without it, the TARDIS might land without precision (random offset?)

Relativity differentiator Spatial geometer allows the TARDIS to travel in space, not just time if disabled, the TARDIS will stay in place no matter what

Stabilizer Navigational booster makes the vortex flight shorter removes TARDIS shaking

Temporal collision prevention Temporal collision shields Time path indicator Time ram prevention unit allow to detect other time machines in the time vortex and prevent collisions and time rams gmod: in hard mode if this is off and another TARDIS is travelling, a 50% chance of crashing

Oscillating Reverberator [Unit] Time phase oscillator Could be the wibbly lever for TiTT (#375)

Gravitic drift compensator allows to stay in the vortex without wasting artron, forbids remat till disabled

Directional unit if it isn't enabled, every location becomes random

Сalculate current position required after moving without teleport

Confirm destination

Control improvement suggestions:

Navigation system / control -- a new name for "third person"

Directional control add functionality for quick rotation

Geo-feudal lock a name for the tracking feature yet to come (was used for tracking the dalek by 13th Doctor)

Physlock could be required for mat / demat in advanced mode

Fast return should store location history (it is said in the show that it does)

More control names considered: eye of harmony temporal grid dispensator / distributor plasmic shell

overdrive Dark matter stabiliser Friction contrafibulator Dimensional displacement system (mc) magnetic field dispersal [roos] artron limiter atom accelerator Klister valve Orthogonal engine filter Wormhole refractor Temporal velocitor Photon accelerator coils Relative Dimensional Stabiliser Vortex shield Lateral balance cone (existed in type 40, could make the TARDIS teleport to another century) Pause Control / brake (removed the dimentional stabilizers whorp-whorp sound) Light speed overdrive (allows sending signals faster than the speed of light) Temporal stabiliser (for safe time travel, the daleks also had it) Friction contrafibulator (11th used to stabilize the TARDIS interior in DOTD) Gyroscopic stabilizer (orientates the TARDIS to the gravitational field of its surroundings) Magranomic trigger (in the Chronotis's TARDIS) Drift control (in the Monk's TARDIS, allowed to be suspended in space and time)
