This is not an issue, just a general question.

It looks like PTC will be rolling out python scripting w/in advanced controls next year with the release of MCP 11.

@MattWoodhead any idea if this will help integrate MathcadPy more or allow for better functionality?

Hi @andcoder321.

Thanks for the heads up, I hadnt heard about this.

It very much depends how much PTC choose to expose it to the API at all. Based on what we have so far, I would be surprised if they allow us to inject python code into the scripted controls, as the existing API is largely UI automation.

I can forsee the units system changes being a headache for the API too (but welcome from a general Mathcad usability point of view!).

I will keep an eye on the documentation to see if they add anything to the API in the release in March.
