Blue sky: knowing where `gettext` fails #4

Right now, the error message for invalid or breaking things in HTML templates is very unhelpful, leaving us to do detective work for missing brackets or invalid characters.

Could that be improved?

I got nothing here. I looked around here: https://github.com/emaphp/underscore-template-loader, which has a promising lead with: Prepending filename comment, but I see no discernible difference in implementation. The closest I can get is that when a compilation fails, it will tell you both in the console and in the terminal which template you are in, but not where in the template. Open to any suggestions.
