cairo graphics for linux #493

cairo device failed to install on linux.

search for methods to install or a replacement for cairo

were problems observed with this in mac?

quick test indicates that RsvgDevice is working for the graphics view.  Perhaps 
this was tried before but didn't work.  I'll test further.

Using Xlab and Ylab does not override the labels that are set automatically 
with xy plotting (connect datasets DOB -> generic plot)

cairo graphics requires installation of cairo separately for linux.  Looking to 
move to RsvgDevice.

moved to RSvgDevice  well see if we get errors but testing seems to be OK
