New links do not appear #518

What steps will reproduce the problem?
trunk revision 1320
1. Add several widgets on the canvas
2. link them

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
After having added some widgets, links no longer appear. Dragging scroll bars 
back and forth few times makes them reappear.

Thanks for reporting this.  This is a known error with Qt apparently rendering 
things is really hard for it if the register is out of wack.  I'll see what I 
can do but I tried to fix this a few times with no success.
