Reboot the device and try again, but this time don't run "./vieux -p" before running "./vieux -i /Users/seo/Downloads/Vieux-master/iPad_64bit_10.3.3_14G60_Restore.ipsw"

sss55554565 commented 4 years ago

I tried it as directed, but the symptoms are still the same... My iPad is full of personal data and apps. Before attempting to downgrade, should iPad be factory reset?

meekeesheed commented 4 years ago

hi! getting the same error with the same device type.

iPad mini 2, on macOS mojave 10.15.2

./vieux --i /Users/meme/Desktop/iPad_64bit_10.3.3_14G60_Restore.ipsw

...

ERROR: Unsupported model... Exiting...

unfortunately no specific error detail available

any clue what's wrong?

det-builder commented 4 years ago

I too am seeing the same error on my iPhone 5S (iPhone6,1) running IOS 12.4.6 and I use a Mac Mini running macOS 10.15.4.

sss55554565 commented 4 years ago

In my opinion, this problem is guessed by the script not being able to identify the iPad. Because if I type ./vieux -i without connecting the iPad at all to the mac, the same error message "unsupported model" is displayed.

I've solved this problem. I downgraded the version of Hackintosh from Catalina to Mojave. now working normally. (And this time, I installed Mojave for English only without activating any other language.) But I don't know if others will be solved with the same solution.
