Unable to discover device model #92

Dear, I start the Script as mac(root), there is an Error below. run './vieux -i 1.ipsw' Logs:

Current version is: 1.0.1 If you are using a 64 Bit device then connect it in DFU Mode If you are using a 32 Bit device then just have it connected in NORMAL mode Files cleaned. 1.ipsw is a zip archive! Starting IPSW unzipping Continuing... IPSW found at given path... Cleaning up old files... Files cleaned. Unzipping.. ERROR: Unable to discover device model ERROR: Unsupported model... Exiting...

then run $ ./igetnonce

Version: 62acc7edad4dbffd94b7731539b892308c74699c - 14 ERROR: Unable to discover device model

Yes, sure.

Are you sure because if igetnonce can't see the device then you most likely either aren't in DFU mode, are using a bad cable or just aren't plugged in. Also you don't need to run Vieux as root/with sudo

In order to check whether it is a cable or other software environment problem, I tried to use another Iphone 5s, igetnonce can successfully detect the device, as shown in Figure 1, under all circumstances unchanged, while replaced with Ipad Air, igetnonce cannot detect it, as shown in Figure 2. 1 2 thx.

This looks like an issue with your iPad, either its not in DFU mode properly or it has some hardware fault. Nothing I can do sorry

Did you try with official cable?
