As the player, I want the tower defense portion to be playable so that it does not feel like I am watching a video, but rather interacting with the landscape and environment by placing towers.
CoS:
1) Creatures are able to be placed in the towers
2) Working hotbar (with art)
3) At least one enemy that has completed animations, art, movement, etc.
4) Transitions back to the roguelike level
