I tested a little bit during the day. It seens to be that the riht border of
the code window is moved to the left side. But there is no pssibility to move
it back.

I had this issue, too, at one point, and (hopefully) corrected it in the
current development version. If I remember correctly, a quick way around (other
than waiting me to upload the next revision) is to hide the tool panel on the
left by clicking the buttons on the very left, and then resize the wysiwyg area
with the slider.
Yet another way is to close TikzEdt, open the settings file manually (on my
machine this is
C:\Users\alw\AppData\Roaming\TikzEdt\TikzEdt\0.2.1.0\TikzEdt.settings)
and adjust the setting
OverlayCanvasCol2WidthSetting
to some smaller value. (say 100) This setting controls the width of the wysiwyg
area.
