What file format are you trying to import? Could you attach a sample?
I tried to export to CSV from AnyMemo and then import it. It is working.

I am trying to import Mnemosyne XML, but the issue is not related to any
specific format, *all* importing ends up with a failure to proceed to file
select dialogue.

The Screenshot attached.

Note that the import has been possible with the same tablet and OS some
versions ago.

Ok I see. the problem is that AnyMemo doesn't support Mnemosyne 2.0 exported
file. It only support Mnemosyne 1.0. It must be an .xml flie.

No, as I wrote, it is not related to any particular format, all import options
end with a failure to open the import file selection dialogue. Instead the
empty bar is displayed and nothing really happens. Clicking back, takes you
back to import option selection screen. I have really tries out all import
options.

Interesting, probably it is compatibility problem with Android 3.2.1. I never
tested on that android version, it works on 1.6, 2.2, 2.3, 4.0, 4.1. I will
test it and make that dialog compatible with 3.2.1.

I tested on Android 3.2.1 emulator. But it works just fine. See attached
screenshot.
I think probably you can try the latest nightly build if it is ok or not. If it
still have problems, probably we need to work out way to resolve the problem
and test it on your device.

For nightly build you have to uninsall the current AnyMemo and then install
nightly build APK.

Thank you for reporting back. Close this bug, since the new version will be
released as 10.0.
Ok, that indicate it is an Android's SDK bug. The nightly use Android 4.1 SDK
instead of 2.2.
