Adium compatible packaging #5

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download plugin
2. Rename from .dll to .adiumplugin
3. Open with Adium
4. Relaunch adium

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Adium is a Mac based repackaging of the Pidgin core code. Your plugin should
install and run happily with a minimum of effort to package the protocol.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Adium 1.4.3 on OSX 10.7.2

Please provide any additional information below.

I can't imagine this could possibly be the correct method for making a Pidgin
protocol plugin work on Adium.

Have you tried compiling the plugin yourself for Adium? I don't own a Mac and
have no experience with this.

The plugin does have dependencies in one source file on libpidgin, in addition
to libpurple (in order to make link shortcuts work).

Sorry, but I have no idea where to start on OSX, either.
