Change story emphasis marks to HTML #5

When importing stories into Anki, Koohii formatting is just passed through, *word* denotes primitives (Styled as Italics)

word# denotes keywords (Styled as Bold)

Additionally, keywords are automatically highlighted on Koohii. Be mindful of the CSS Reset on the Styling fields as well as the Import with HTML in fields Anki Option

Thankfully, Heisig has changed the outputting format of stories. Therefore, the issue is solved.
