"Delete from device" don't word on sdcard

Actual behaviour

• When I want to delete mp3 file from my storage using the app's "Delete from device", id doesn't delete if the file on the sdcard. it does delete well when the file on the internal storage

Expected behaviour

• the file should be deleted :-)

Steps to reproduce

1. withe the "folder" view pick a song located on the sdcard. listen a little
2. pause the playing and click the "Delete from device" in the song's menue
3. the song is still there

if you do the same on a song in the internal storage it's deleted well

Android version: 8.1.0

Device model: xiaomi redmi note 5 pro

Stock or customized system: MIUI 10.0.1

Music-Player app version: 1.2.0

I have the same issue as well as an issue where I can't change tags for files on SD Cards.

From what I understand, SD Cards are read-only on Android > 6.0 by default and that's the cause of the issue.
