2. Consolidation: Please describe the whole consolidation process from getting a request of an importer/sender to the actual consolidation and loading of the goods in the container at the port. Please include all necessary documents and included stakeholders. And more importantly please include the document flows between stakeholders and the adjustments made to the documents in each step.

3. Reconsolidation at stopover port: Please describe the whole reconsolidation process at a stopover port where the container is only partly unloaded and reloaded again with new pallets/packages. Please include all necessary documents and included stakeholders. And more importantly please include the document flows between stakeholders and the adjustments made to the documents in each step.

More specific questions:

Does it happen regularly that containers have a stopover and do not directly go to their final destination?
Why isn´t it planned without stopovers at other ports?
Who opens the container and how does he know which package to unload and which package to load?
Which documents are necessary in this process?
Which documents needs to the port employee to see?
Which documents have to be screened and signed/confirmed?
What adjustments/additions are necessary to be made to the documents?
How does the reconsolidation work again after all packages are unloaded and have to be reloaded again?

What apps/systems are used in this process?

How does the process look like for the LCL container and its goods from "ship arrives at final destination" to "goods are successfully loaded on the right truck or to the right warehouse"?
Who is unloading the container?
What information does he get from scanning the barcode on the pallets/goods?
Which documents does he check?
Does the port employee sign and confirm or add something to the documents?
Are the packages directly picked up from the port or first shipped to a port warehouse?
Who pays for the storage there?
How does the logistics company, delivering the goods to the final customer/warehouse know that they can pick up the goods now at the port?
Which communication channel is used?
Who picks the goods up and when?
Which documents and flows are happening between which parties?
What apps/systems are used in this process?
How does the tax clearance procedure work?

Is it realistic/useful that multiple consolidation companies participate in one network?
What is an appropriate level of granularity for the participants at ports? There are probably administrative employees involved as well as those who perform loading of the containers.
In what ways do sellers (such as FBA sellers) participate in the process or interaction with the blockchain?
Will they possibly submit their requests for partial shipments in a shared container via the blockchain ("matchmaking")? Or does the consolidation company continue to do all of this and then maintain the data on the blockchain?
Who/what is exactly meant with "consignee"?
What is the correct name for participants/sellers sharing a container?

Problematic open side questions:

validating that container creating company really exists?
How to convert the real life ownership of the container to blockchain?
Automation of consolidation is still manual - mapping container slots and info about packages and measures manually. Companies can add such a automation solution to their system.

Let the goods be picked up by logistics provider (DHL, GLS, etc...) at the factory and send it to the port warehouse

Q: Which documents are necessary to deliver the goods to the warehouse? A: Packing list

Which documents are checked to successfully store them at the warehouses? A:

packing list (physical form)
bill of lading (gets send by warehouse, LCL to the sender in order to let the sender fill out the bill of lading)

Q: Who is checking the documents and goods at the port? A: in the warehouse someone? - probably warehouse employee that is taking the goods and the documents checks the packing list and the bill of lading and signs them port agent checks the physical documents (which documents specifically?) of the goods before loading Based on the physical bill of lading, the port employee creates a further more high level bill of lading of the container
