No characters beyond ASCII - eg no German umlauts or French accents - no UTF-8 #7

All characters beyond ASCII already have been stripped out. Sorry the database 
is hence useless as it is.

Example1: "Gummibrchen" instead of "Gummibärchen"

Example2: "Cte" instead of "Côte"

No UTF-8 encoding. (??)
