I hear a strange noise when I call through chan_dongle.
Sometimes the sound is good during call, but suddenly the attached sound comes
for shorter or longer period (up to 5-6s).
Asterisk version is 1.6 branch, yesterdey I've tried chan-dongle's svn version
and now I have the downloadable 1.1.r10 version installed.
The problem is the same using two sticks (Huawei K3520 and K3565).
Setup:
- Phone_1 (Analogue) --alaw--(SPA-3000)--> asterisk
- Phone_2 (Analogue) --alaw--(SPA-3000)--> asterisk
- Phone_3 (Mobile) --ilbc--(N900)--> asterisk
- Phone_line (Service Provider) --alaw--> asterisk
It seems there is no problem, when I call from Phone_1 using Phone_line to
chan_dongle and pick up using Phone_2 or call from Phone_1 using chan_dongle to
Phone_line and pick up using Phone_2.
...but I hear this noise in the same situation when I pick up using Phone_3 in
both directions (incoming or outgoing call), but I hear it always in Phone_1's
receiver (and never in Phone_3).
I think it is something around ilbc and alaw connection, but otherwise I never
had any problems with Phone_3 (other directions) and I use it almost every day
to call using the same codec over SIP.
What could cause this problem?
Maybe does any workaround exist that could resolve this issue?
Thank you your help.
