Hyprland workspace doesn't update when switching monitors

The active workspace updates correctly when both workspaces are on the same monitor, but if not, the highlight remains on the previously active workspace until I switch again

maybe this could be considered a Hyprland issue, it doesn't seem to fire the workspace event in this case

or maybe it's intentional? docs say:

Is emitted ONLY when a user requests a workspace change, and is not emitted on mouse movements
