Feature Request: Custom TabBar launch buttons #1148

Hi there

I know this is a long shot, and I'm being very lazy - but i need to open Bash on Windows and CMD tabs very regularly on my machine. It would be VERY nice to have a "new bash" and a "new cmd" icon next to the green [+] for creating new tabs. I'm imagining that in the setup of the 'task' you could add a checkbox that says, "[] include icon for this on tab bar" ..

Just a nice to have, thanks for considering it :)

Just new you may set up a hotkey for each task. This is faster than pixel hunting. That doesn't mean I reject the toolbar customization.

I keep thinking of this too, just too many clicks to start a new a new task, and hotkeys get hard after you have 5-6 different tasks.

There is a hotkey to open the pop-up Tasks menu. Up to ten tasks in two clicks.

yeah, being windows, pointing and clicking is more natural than hotkeys - i dont want a button for every shell i have configured, that would make gazillions of buttons and defeat the purpose - just a few favorite ones.. (like 5 max)

or if i can scope creep the feature request - have a couple of buttons that run a command in a new shell - then i can code in a shell to open, or a command to run (like open bash and then open mc on /home) - automate the drudgery of daily life - actually wouldnt be surprized if this is not possible already - make a taskbar button that tells conemu to open a shell and run a command in it.. ?

Hi @Maximus5 - You closed this issue, does that mean: 1 - Wont implement 2 - Already Implemented 3 - Morphed into something cooler?
