Versions

ConEmu build: 180318 [64] OS version: Windows 10 x64 Used shell version cmd

Problem description

Can not resize the command-line height when display in status bar.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open folder in explorer
  2. Rightclick -> ConEmuInside
  3. Open settings
  4. Main -> Size & Position
  5. Height is greyd out.

Actual results

Cant change the height of the window

Expected results

Change height of the window.

Maybe there is another way to change this i dont know.

NOTE: Using detail/preview window is not really an option because this uses up space if i dont have the ConEmu loaded.

It would be good if i could resize the console or make it a percentage of the heigt of the explorerwindow

The main idea of Inside mode is that ConEmu just fit available area. Inside windows can't be resized from "ConEmu side". If you want to use the feature, user have to ensure there is enough space for Inside window. So, show the pane before calling Inside mode.

To clarify i dont have detail/preview open. Without looking into the code but ConEmu seems to overlay over the explorer-window which would be fine for me as long as i could increase the size. Preferably with a slider on the upper side of ConEmu, but a % setting would be fine too.

conemu_closed => conemu_open

i also just experienced this. i found that alt-shift-p before or after performing the inside command allowed the console to display or adjust itself appropriately

Enable Preview Pane in windows explorer (View > Preview Pane) and then ConEmuInside will show in preview pane in right side.
