ConEmu fail to launch after upate to 21627 #2330

Versions

ConEmu build: 21627 x32/x64 OS version: Windows 10 x64 21H1 (build 19043.1081) Used shell: Far 3.0.5800

Problem description

Steps to reproduce

  1. Update ConEmu to last version
  2. Try to run it

Note

Sfc found some corruption and repaired it but after reboot ConEmu not launch with the same error.

UPD: ConEmu x32 works.

Is there a crash dump? Please check the signature of the ConEmu64.exe.

Actually this one:

Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll

Shows that you OS files were critically corrupted

Actually, you may check the signature for the file "C:\Windows\System32\ntdll.dll". If file is broken, you should restore it.

Otherwise, it could be your AV software, if you have some installed. ConEmu does not detour ntdll.dll functions (especially for ConEmu's processes), only AV or other third-party software may do that. So, you need to check your system.

I have same issue after update. Crash dump here ConEmu64.exe.19168.dmp.zip

A similar problem when starting ConEmu64.exe There is no such problem when starting ConEmu.exe Repeats on versions 210627, 210624, 210620 Not reproduced on 210422 Windows version Microsoft Windows 10 [Version 10.0.19042.1055]

The same issue. Microsoft Windows 10 Pro Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042 ConEmu64 version 210422 works, 210620, 210624, 210627 fail to start

Okay, now I know the problem - the new version of Visual Studio. It forces me to make a massive change I was planning for a long time.

Both x86 and x64 versions works fine.

But x64 version launch Far x86 instead x64. Had to set the full path to far.exe.

Hello! ~I can't install Conemu 210912 x64 on Windows 10 21H2 (19044.1348). But 32-bit version works.~ ~Unfortunately I cannot find any dump file.~ Sorry, system %PATH% was corrupted. My bad...
