Tab with Far Manager cannot be closed with simple click #241

When Far Manager is running inside a tab, and I want to close the tab, Far Manager quits, but the tab remains opened with console input. What if I want to close the tab regardless of Far Manager or simple cmd is running there? I have not found such option.

Also, when Far Manager is opened and I want to close the tab, ConEmu asks me: do I really want to do that? How to disable this confirmation for Far but still keeping it for the case of a "real" process (such as copying files, etc.) is running?

  1. Unbelievable. When properly started Far closes, the tab closes too.

Also, if Far is running and I want to close the entire window, it asks me, do I really want, I select Yes. And tab freezes, Far Manager freezes (remains visible).

I run Far from cmd, not using {Far} task shipped with ConEmu.

This can be reproduced with default ConEmu settings. Far is almost "clean" too. P.S. We can go to Skype or TeamViewer if you want.

I read. And have read this. I copied ConEmu plugin directly to Far Manager plugins folder (and it uses it—I am able to resize Far panels with mouse). I also tried to run Far with /w key. Or am I missing something more?

I also experimented with "close tab" macro without success.

How can I help you without screenshots or log files? And check links I've posted, especially for "Safe far close".

BTW, "copying" is rather bad way. You will be responsible for updating them manually each time. Moreover, you may face versions hell.

Checking/unchecking "safe far close" does not solve this problem.

When you run "far" directly from command line, for example, {Shells::cmd}, are you able to close tab with Far with single click?

Tried Far Manager without ConEmu plugin, looks like tab with Far can be closed if plugin is not used.

Also tried ConEmu version 140404, this version did not have this problem—with plugin and without plugin tab can be closed without problem.
