Unable to run FreeDOS Edit with recent ConEmu #2562

Versions

ConEmu build: 230724 x64 OS version: Windows 8.1 x64 Used shell version cmd

Problem description

FreeDOS Edit does not display when ran

Steps to reproduce

  1. Download from here https://sourceforge.net/projects/fdeditw32/files/FreeDOS%20Edit/fdedit%200.82%20beta%202/
  2. Attempt to run under ConEmu

Actual results

This error is display ConEmuC64: CreateFile(CONOUT$) failed, ErrCode=0x00000020 However it can be seen running in "Real Console" from the Debug menu.

Expected results

The program should display normally. When I tried a much earlier version of ConEmu (170316), it worked fine.

Discovered it was due to me disabling ConEmuHk injection
