Switch to/from "PowerShell" color scheme freeze the conemu for several seconds #599

Open settings go to colors select "PowerShell" color scheme

the conemu and settings dialog have been unresponsible for 10 seconds.

switch to/from any other color sachems is normal (realtime).

<PowerShell> scheme has specific Text/Back indexes. I suppose that the problem is on your OS, which takes time to apply the values. However, I do not see any lags on my Win 8.1

It is possible. I have Win 10 Insider. Is it possible to check this case (normal vs specific Text/Back indexes) from command line?

Hm. Actually, the issue is about popup colors (not simple text, but those which are used, for example, in F7 pressed in cmd.exe prompt). So, you may try to change them from real console window properties manually to compare.

You are right it is only about Popup with selected number, in "auto" no freeze.

I tried in cmd to change the color - in can't reproduce the issue - the color are changed with out any delay.

What Windows build have you installed? On my test Win10 there is no lag. Anyway, I've added some logging to find the problem.

Win 7 x64 (Win 6.1 build 7601: SP1) with all the latest updates, having exactly same issue.

Another color scheme Material Shell Dark gives me the same freeze. Win 7 x64, ConEmu 191012.
