Distortion issues (yet again I guess) #58

Hi, I know this has been somewhat discussed to death here but I can't solve this problem for the life of me with the solutions floating around here (or anywhere on the internet really). It doesn't matter if I try to use my Scarlett 2i4 (1st Gen), Xonar DX or my Realtek Onboard sound. I always end up with that annoying high pitched distortion whenever the "default" (or any other distorted sound really) tone is on. Cleans always sound pretty decent but obviously this wont get you far if you want to actually play most of the songs in the game. So far I tried: -Fiddling with the settings a whole lot (win32lowlatency, buffer settings, exclusivity, etc. you name it) -This launcher (both versions) and the NoCablePatch thats floating around -Reinstalling Rocksmith -several variants of "virtual cables" all of course while disabling all but the needed Inputs/Outputs What has however worked is my Chinese Guitar Interface that actually sets a PID/VID in the launcher (all 3 others don't and show 0000 on both). But even then I remember getting a pretty similar distortion sound once in a while. Can anybody please explain to me how to fix this issue? Or is anybody currently running a current version of Rocksmith 2014 with any of the devices I've listed and maybe give me some guidance?

Thanks!
