The first Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective has a few display issues:
The screen is shifted down somewhat with the bottom cut off, this is most apparent on the title screen before the table of contents since it cuts off the bottom half of some text at the bottom, though other screens I've checked also have this general issue.
There is a red line flashes in the top right of the screen, possible this is intended since it would probably be outside the safe zone on a CRT (though in that case it would be great to have an option to hide the area outside the safe zone).
If you take a screenshot and look at the file in memories it appears to have double wide pixels. Not sure if this is related to the display issues. Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective 2 also produces double wide screenshots but does not have any of the display issues the first game has. No other games I've checked produce warped screenshots like these two do.
