[bug] Dialer not showing dimension 1.12.2 #1937

Issue description: Dialer does not show dimlet dimension receiver.

Steps to reproduce: Store new dimlet and charge entirely only to see nothing in the dialer.

Versions:

Possibly incompatible mods and versions: Galacticraft (console errors after generating dimlet dimension), Optifine(unlikely).

The teleporter probe does not display the dimensions either oddly.. Obviously only the overworld, end, etc.

Had the same problem happen to me a couple of hours ago and it was on my very first rftoolsdim dimension so I thought it was something I had missed but it wasn't. I used the dimension editor to send a fully charged matter receiver into the dimension preset which resulted in a game crash. I then updated rftools, rftoolsdim, mcjtylib and forge to their latest versions and its now working as intended.

I'll try to update the server then and post back here. I'm just curious why it stopped working after wiping our map.. Odd.

Just updated the pack and Forge version to 14.23.5.2800; no change.

I'm using the following RFTools mods: rftools-1.12-7.70 rftoolsctrl-1.12-2.0.2 rftoolsdim-1.12-5.70

I'm using rftools-1.12-7.70, rftoolsdim-1.12-5.70, mcjtylib-1.12-3.5.0 and forge1.12.2-14.23.5.2836. Did some tests in my test world and my 7th dimension created once again did not show up on my dialing device. So I placed the realized dimension tab into the dimension editor as well as a fully charged matter receiver and let it transfer. Game crashed but once I restarted the game, the dimension was showing up in the dialing device. So I guess this is the solution, it would be nice to be able to do it without the game crashing every time though.

I'm also using mcjtylib-1.12-3.5.0, I forgot to mention.

Our server does not crash, however the newly created dimensions (RFTools safedel command issued before regenerating..) don't show up at all in the dialing device regardless of a restart.

I guess it's a bug with RFTools since that Galacticraft error I was getting is no longer in the server console after attempting to generate a new dimension.

I cannot reproduce the problem myself. If you at any time got a crash then it would be nice to add the crashlog to this report. Maybe it can help me figure out what's wrong

@LostDGod seems to be the only one who has crashed from this issue.

I have only received errors which I included in my original submission.

@LostDGod if you could get us the crashlog for that it would be very helpful. Other than that, all I can see is that galactic craft is doing something funky even though they say they aren't but I can't be sure. Closing for now until we get a responses.

The exact same happened to me in the direwolf20 modpack.

Generated a Dimlet and there was no way in. Tried to Move a fully loaded matter receiver into the world via the editor and at 99% the server crashed.

Same problem here, still ocurring in 1.12.2, please reopen the issue. The 7th dimension does not show up in the dialer, and when you send a charged matter receiver to the dimension with the editor, at 100% it crash, for me it crashed the server not my client, because i was on a server. But for me the dialer didn't work at all, if I place the matter receiver in the overworld, it doesn't show up in the dialer too. If you need crash logs, tell me

Sure, after server restart, i have no matters receivers in the dialer, this is a screenshot But I can't reproduce the crash, but i still have the crash logs from the last crash caused by rftools

Just got the same issue in PO3. Tried to get to the dimension with /tpx command. Client froze to death. Killed it. MultiMC console spat this as I was trying to get to dimension 18:

Just happened to myself in a custom modpack. Dimension was working fine before. Later, it said connection interrupted and hasn't worked since. Not sure what caused it to stop working. Seems like all these other comments just had it not work in the first place.
