manually deleting world folders/files in file explorer
manually deleting world folders/files using del -r {name} in a console with admin perms
all of these ran successfully (at least no game-crashing errors) but none of them deleted the dimension. the only error I got was trying to use the TNT in the editor for a second time and it saying it's not a valid dimension
What I did:
create a blank random dimension (named first)
go into the dimension using a matter transmitter
go out using an ars warp scroll
send a tnt through editor
create another blank dimension with same name
go in and see the exit portal I built + same generation
go out, delete with editor again
/rftoolsdim list
/rftoolsdim forget first
/rftoolsdim list | (still there)
try to delete files in file explorer (can't)
try to delete files in console (can't)
try to delete with editor again (not a valid dimension)
/rftoolsdim list (still there)
(edit) ALSO TRIED:
server shutdown
manually deleted the files (it broke all other dimensions except vanilla and AE2 spatial storage)
Ctrl+Z the files
turn server back on (the broken dimensions were restored)
/rftoolsdim list showed the dimensions were deleted
created another dimension with the same name ("first") and didn't get any "already exists" error
jumped into the dimension and it had the blocks I already placed beforehand
