I came across this issue today while playing the TNP Modpack for 1.16.5. I was able to remove them using an AOE tool like the Hammer from Silent Gears otherwise you can't interact with them at all.
Just ran into this on ATM 8. Had to use vein mining to remove it.
What does 'Reacharound Placing' do?

Can you prevent facade's from being set to air?
Hmm perhaps. But I do note that this is a ticket for 1.16.5. I no longer develop on 1.16.5
If this issue is also happening on ATM 8 then it may be safe to assume that the issue is not just 1.16.5 considering that the pack runs on 1.19. If you are no longer developing for 1.16.5 then I would not expect you to fix it there but we may ask if you can check the issue on current versions and fix it there?

Issue description: When using "Reacharound Placing" from Quark the facade can be set to an Air block and set on to cables then it can only be removed by using /fill
Steps to reproduce: Hold a facade and have the Reacharound icon appear then when you right click to place it will just set the facade to air and still let you place the air onto cables.
