Do we have access to any pre-built models for this yet, or are we still sourcing such things? Are we perhaps making them ourselves?
Monty has found some basic models, I dont think they're pushed yet.
I have finished making a component script which we can add to game objects. When you click on them it will activate a UI component displaying the voltage and if it is a fault or not. This is going to be easy to mess with to fit our needs. I'll take any input to make it better as I think it could be tidied up hahaha
In the future we may make models based on the actual equipment in the Electrical Engineering department but for now we will just use stuff from Sketchfab
We have been asked to make a simple circuit which they have a physical example of in the Electrical engineering department.
Switchboard -> Light Switch -> Bulb
We should also make this with the potential for the components to have faults which will break the circuit, we don't need to worry about fixing it yet.
I also don't think we should stress about moving the wires yet but that shouldn't be far away.
Another thing I think we should focus on is getting the multi meter to prod at components and get a voltage
