Evolve pokemon #18

Dodrio is on my hand. There is a button to evolve it. If I click it, it says to select Pokemon on the bench or active. I tried Jynx, Hitmonlee and Geodude but nothing is happening and the message on the bottom left says "Dodrio only evolves from Geodude" or "Dodrio only evolves from Geodude" or "Dodrio only evolves from Jynx" etc.

Maybe it's just a coincidence but the active pokemon of the AI is Doduo?

I received Doduo on my hand and tried to evolve Dodrio from it but nothing is happening. The message "Select a pokemon from your bench or active" is only appearing
