Sometimes there is a page-turn before the piece (and the voice) ends, so more than one <pb> element might be needed within <layer>. It seems that when having more than one <pb> element, the editor only displays the zones belonging to the last page (the ones for the <sb> elements that follow that last <pb>).
Here I am attaching two files as examples.
The one starting with "6" has just one extra <pb> element at the end of the tenor part. If you remove this element, the file loads perfectly (zones are displayed in folios 4v-5r). If you keep it, all the zones related to the tenor stop being displayed; these are all the zones that preceded that<pb> element. (If it helps, the lyrics are supposed to indicate the original folio numbers—here, 31v and 32r—and system number.)
The one starting with "7" looks more similar to the output of MuRET's OMR system. There is page turn for all four voices (so, there is a <pb> element mid-voice within all four <layer> elements). The voices should be rendered in folios 4v-5r (the lyrics should read folios 31v-32r here); and then, after the page turn, they should continue in 5v-6r (the lyrics should read folios 32v–33r for these). But zones are only displayed for the last two folios (5r-6v), disappearing from the first two (4v-5r). This file might be useful to test it later on with a "real case scenario."
