If I provide a Parts-based MEI file coming from OMR (which has regions for each system and symbol within), the score editor interface highlighting functionality doesn't work properly. It highlights very well the notes in the first system of each voice. However, once we move to the notes in the second system, it starts highlighting the notes in the first system again, which makes it impossible to edit any note after the first system of a voice.

I noticed that there are no <sb> elements in the Score-based MEI file exported from the MP-Editor. So, how does the MP-Editor score interface determines in which region of the page a symbol is?
